If you had to pick, what would you say was the most exciting thing to come out of online casinos in the last few years?

For me, it’s live game shows, a casino-entertainment hybrid that has evolved super fast from next-gen roulette to board games that are brought to life with real hosts and even virtual hosts.

There are two genius elements to this fairly new live casino game category. First, it adds an extra layer of entertainment with better graphics, new technology like AI and AR, and a more human flavour to what is essentially just casino software. Second, it’s a concept that works whether you play blackjack, roulette, bingo, slots, or crash games. Whatever your jam, the whole live game show concept can really dial things up a level. Live game shows also slow things down and let you enjoy every beat of the game, and you get an awful lot more game for your money too in my opinion.

There’s more ‘gaming’ in gambling than ever these days. And with a clever mix of human hosts, virtual characters and bonus rounds, live game shows like Crazy Time are the perfect example of where we’re headed.

In my latest episode of the OJO Show podcast, I take a quick look at how live game shows started out, the many different formats of game show we’ve seen so far and the best of the best that I recommend you try if you haven’t already. I also pick out my one to watch, a game I was able to preview in January that’s due to land at PlayOJO in July.

Enjoy!
