Tumble Feature

If you win on a spin in Power of Thor Megaways, all winning symbols disappear. The remaining symbols fall (tumble) to the bottom of the reel grid and the empty positions are replaced with new symbols that drop from above. This can result in another winning combination. The tumbling continues until no more winning combinations appear.

Hammer Feature

Though it doesn’t offer any payouts, whenever the hammer symbol lands on reels 2, 3, 4, or 5 in its full form (a 2 positions wide symbol) all symbols below it will turn into wilds. If the feature results from a tumble, the hammer symbols will change to a new position on the top row, and all symbols below it will turn into wilds.

This is a fun feature and perhaps the most unique element of the game. What makes it even better is that it can also be triggered during the free spins round. Just keep in mind that the Hammer symbol needs to be fully visible for the feature to activate.

My verdict

Overall, Power of Thor Megaways delivers smashing gameplay worthy of its titular character. The only thing about this slot that I found lacked spark is the 5,000x max win potential. Though a nice sized prize, it’s not the most impressive for a high volatility game with this design. Still, Pragmatic’s done an excellent job with the visuals, ambient soundtrack and overall setup of this slot. These perks combined with the Tumble and Hammer features and 117,649 ways to win, makes Power of Thor Megaways a truly one-of-a-kind game in my opinion.
